The Container – Pop-Up Storefront Revitalisation
Brief
A high-street landlord needed to revamp a small retail unit to house rotating pop-ups. The design had to cover awkward architectural angles and create a standout façade that would attract new tenants.
Our Approach
We fabricated a custom steel shopfront shaped like a shipping container, using scrap materials, powder coating and hand painting. Features included sliding doors, enlarged windows and graphics illustrating the site’s history. The modular design allowed for easy opening, closing and rebranding as new tenants moved in.
Impact
The installation reenergised the unit and attracted a variety of pop-up businesses, showing how innovative façades can support urban regeneration.
