I Should Be Crying – Limited-Edition Sculptures
Brief
We collaborated with Stuart Semple to produce a series of sculptures exploring the tension between outward happiness and inner anxiety. Each piece needed to be both collectible and conceptually rich.
Our Approach
We 3D-printed resin smiley sculptures and finished them with enamel paint. Each of the eight editions was placed inside a CNC-machined flight crate complete with foam inserts and hand-painted details. The crates were numbered and signed, turning packaging into part of the artwork.
Impact
The limited edition sold out quickly, with collectors appreciating both the craftsmanship and the commentary on modern happiness. The project underscores our ability to produce fine art pieces with industrial processes.
